The short version: the online conversion tools on this site (video, audio, image, GIF and PDF conversion) run entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers. The one exception is the AI Vocal/Music Remover tool, which sends your file to a processing backend — see the section below for details.

1. Who we are

Titan Converter ("we", "us", "our") provides a free online file conversion website at titanconverter.site and a companion Windows desktop application. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's used across both.

2. Files you convert

2.1 Client-side (browser-based) tools

The following tools run 100% locally in your browser using WebAssembly (ffmpeg.wasm), JavaScript-based OCR, and similar in-browser libraries. When you use these tools, your file is read directly by your browser and never transmitted anywhere:

Video ↔ video conversion, video compression
Video → MP3/audio extraction
Video → GIF conversion
Image ↔ image conversion
Images → video, images → PDF
Text extraction from images (OCR)
Audio ↔ audio conversion

Because these conversions happen on your own device, we have no access to the files themselves, their contents, or the converted output.

2.2 Server-processed tools

The AI Vocal/Music Remover tool separates audio into stems (vocals, drums, bass, other instruments) using a machine-learning model that is too large to run in a browser. For this tool only, your uploaded audio or video file is transmitted to our processing backend, processed, and the separated stems are returned to you for download. Uploaded files are used solely to perform the requested separation and are deleted from our processing servers after your session; we do not review, share, or use these files for any other purpose.

3. Usage & analytics data

To understand how the site is used and to keep the free daily conversion limits fair, we collect limited, non-identifying usage data:

A randomly generated session identifier, stored in your browser's local storage
Which tool page you visited and when
The referring website (if any) and general device type (mobile/desktop)
A daily count of conversions performed, used only to enforce the free-tier daily limit

This data is not tied to your name, email, or any other directly identifying information, and is not sold to third parties.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to remember your theme preference (light/dark), your session identifier, and your daily free-conversion count. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data for titanconverter.site.

5. Third-party services

Pages on this site load some resources from third-party content delivery networks (for example, jsDelivr, for the conversion engines, and Google Fonts, for typography). These providers may log standard technical request data (such as IP address) as part of serving those files, under their own privacy policies.

6. Desktop application

The Titan Converter desktop app for Windows performs all conversions offline on your computer. It does not upload your media files anywhere. Licensing is handled by email — if you purchase a license, we retain your email address and license details only for the purpose of providing support and license verification.

7. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your choices

Since most tools never receive your files, there is nothing to request deletion of for those conversions. For the Vocal/Music Remover tool, files are automatically deleted after processing. You can also clear local storage at any time to remove your session and usage data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
