Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Titan Converter website at titanconverter.site (the "Site"), its online conversion tools (the "Online Tools"), and the Titan Converter Windows desktop application (the "App"), together the "Service", operated by Titan Converter ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Titan Converter provides free, browser-based file conversion tools (video, audio, image, GIF and PDF conversion), a free AI vocal/music remover, and a paid-license Windows desktop application for offline batch conversion and advanced AI features.
2. Free tier & limits
The Online Tools are free to use, subject to a daily conversion limit per browser session (currently 30 conversions/day), tracked using local storage on your device. We may change these limits at any time. Higher or unlimited usage is available through the paid desktop App license.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Convert, process or distribute content you don't have the legal right to use (including copyrighted material without permission)
- Upload or process any content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that violates the rights of others
- Attempt to circumvent daily usage limits through automated means, scripts, or abuse of the service
- Use QR codes, image uploads or tracked links for phishing, malware, scams or illegal content (see section 4A)
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App beyond what's permitted by law
- Use the Service to build a competing product without our written permission
You are solely responsible for the files you convert and for ensuring you have the right to do so.
4. Your content
You retain all ownership rights to the files you convert. For the browser-based Online Tools, your files are processed locally and are never transmitted to us (the exceptions are image QR codes and the safety log of link and text QR codes, see section 4A). For the AI Vocal/Music Remover, files are transmitted to our processing backend solely to perform the requested separation and are deleted afterward. See our Privacy Policy for details. We do not claim any ownership over your files or their contents.
4A. QR codes, uploads and scan tracking
Static QR codes (text, links, dates, Wi-Fi, email, phone and logos) are drawn in your browser and do not depend on the Service once you have downloaded them. For safety, when you download a static QR code for a link, text, SMS or email, we keep a copy of its content for 90 days, and our team may review it. We may also review any QR code made with the Service, including uploaded images and tracked links, for security and abuse prevention. Wi-Fi, contact-card, phone and calendar codes are not sent to us. See the Privacy Policy. Two optional features do depend on the Service:
- Image QR codes: the image you choose is uploaded to and stored on our servers so the code can link to it. Anyone with the code or link can view the image. Images are deleted 50 days after upload, and the QR code stops working then.
- Tracked QR codes: the code points to a short link on titanconverter.site that records the scan and then redirects to the destination you chose. The destination cannot be changed after creation. Tracked codes only work while the Service is online, and we do not guarantee that it will be.
You will receive a private stats link when you create a tracked code. It is the only way to see the statistics, we cannot recover it, and anyone who has it can view the statistics and switch the code off. Keep it safe.
You must not use QR codes, image uploads or tracked links to point to, host or distribute:
- phishing pages, scams or fraud, or pages that impersonate another person or organization;
- malware, spyware, unwanted software or links that exploit devices;
- illegal content, content that exploits or endangers children, or content that is hateful, threatening or harassing;
- content that infringes the rights of others, including private images of people shared without their consent;
- chains of redirects, link shorteners or loops meant to hide the real destination.
We may check destinations with automated safety services, disable any QR code, link, image or domain at any time and without notice, and remove stored images. A disabled code stops working. We may also limit how many images and tracked codes one person can create per day.
Abuse reports and takedown requests. To report a harmful tracked QR code, use the report page, or email [ABUSE-EMAIL-TO-BE-CONFIRMED-BY-OWNER]. Please include the short link or the 8-character code and a short description of the problem. Codes that receive reports from several different people are switched off automatically.
5. Desktop App license
The desktop App is offered under a paid license (contact-based, via email) with a free trial period. A license grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the App on your own devices, subject to payment and any license terms communicated at time of purchase. We reserve the right to revoke licenses obtained fraudulently or in violation of these Terms.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that conversions will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce a specific output quality.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Titan Converter and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or files, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
8. Third-party components
The Online Tools rely on open-source and third-party components (including ffmpeg.wasm, OCR and PDF-generation libraries) loaded from third-party content delivery networks. Availability of the Online Tools may depend on the availability of these third-party services.
9. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you've violated these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Titan Converter operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local consumer-protection law.
