How to make an Instagram QR code in 3 simple steps.

No account and no watermark. Free to download as PNG or SVG.

1

Enter your username

Type your Instagram handle, with or without the @. You can also paste the full link to a post, reel or profile.

2

Customize

Use your brand colors, round the shapes, and add your logo or profile picture in the center.

3

Download and test

Save the code and scan it with a phone. It should open your profile in the Instagram app or in the browser.

How an Instagram QR code works

The code contains the web address of your profile, in the form instagram.com/yourname. When someone scans it, their phone opens Instagram, or the browser if the app is not installed, on your profile with a Follow button. The code is static, so it keeps working for as long as your username does.

If you change your username, the old code will point to a profile that no longer exists, so make a new one. Instagram has its own QR code feature inside the app as well. The one made here is a standard QR code that any camera can read, and you can colour it, add a logo and download it as an SVG for print.
