How a LinkedIn QR code works
A LinkedIn QR code stores the web address of your profile. When someone scans it, LinkedIn opens, in the app if it is installed, on your profile with the option to connect. It saves everyone at a conference from searching for you by name and picking the wrong person.
You can personalise the profile address in LinkedIn settings, which gives you a cleaner link and a simpler, easier-to-scan code. Company pages use a different address, so paste the full link for those. LinkedIn also has its own QR feature in the app, but a code made here works in any camera app and can be printed from an SVG.
