How to make a Spotify QR code in 3 simple steps.

No account and no watermark. Free to download as PNG or SVG.

1

Copy the Spotify link

In Spotify, open the song, album, playlist, podcast or artist, tap Share, and choose Copy link.

2

Paste and customize

Paste the link here and choose colors. A Spotify-green code with a dark background looks great, but keep strong contrast.

3

Download and test

Save the code and scan it. Spotify should open the item in the app or the web player.

How a Spotify QR code works

A Spotify QR code contains an open.spotify.com link. When someone scans it with the camera, the phone opens Spotify on the track, album, playlist, podcast episode or artist page. If the app is not installed, the link opens the web player.

Spotify also has its own Spotify Codes, which look like a row of bars and can only be read inside the Spotify app. A QR code made here is different: it can be scanned by any camera app, so it suits posters, invitations and packaging where people will not open Spotify first.

Spotify Codes are Spotify's own bar-style codes and only scan inside the Spotify app. A QR code scans with any phone camera.
The link opens the Spotify app if installed, or the web player in the browser. Listening to full tracks may need an account.
A private playlist can only be opened by its owner. Make the playlist public, or share it as collaborative, before you print the code.
No. It is a static code. It works as long as the Spotify link works.
